Ms Walker
Ms WalkerTeacher
My name is Miss Walker and I am delighted to have joined Iveson this year. I have been teaching for 3 years and enjoyed time in both year 4 and 5. I am looking forward to a new challenge in addition to all the exciting topics that we will cover this year.
Mrs Myers
Mrs MyersTeaching Assistant
I have been at Iveson for 23 years and have supported many children with varying degress of difficulties. My main role at the moment is supporting the children in Doves. I also support children across KS2 with reading and maths.
Mrs Rhodes
Mrs RhodesHLTA
I am a HLTA and teach all classes throughout the school. I really enjoy the diversity of this role and love that it gives me the opportunity to form relationships with all the children in school. I also provide pastoral care in school. I am very passionate about this and love seeing how this time with children can enable them to reach their full potential.

Our blog

Blogs are great because you can share work and achievements with a wide, authentic audience. Instead of just the teacher seeing the students’ creations, all of the parents and students can view the work and leave comments. Having a blog helps to strengthen home-school partnerships and build a sense of classroom community. Blogging provides the ideal opportunity for students to learn about appropriate online behaviours and get experience using a 21st century technology.

Lost property

Please ensure that your child has everything they will need for school and that everything they have has a clear name label in it.  We often have a handful of jumpers that all look the same and don’t have a name in them – this is very important.

Planners and reading books need to be in school every day. Please can you use the home side to record when you have listened to your child read. We encourage children to read at least 3 times a week, in order to support their reading development in school.
Every day the children will change their books themselves this year and this will be done as they finish each one. This will be your child’s responsibility, but the planner needs to be signed to say that the book has been finished.

Full class details of all the homework is available through the class blog.

P.E. kit should be in school everyday.
