Meet our teachers:

Mrs Ord
Mrs OrdTeacher
I’ve worked at the school since September 2016 and am a Year 3 Class Teacher in Wrens. A new challenge for me is in leading the subject of Computing throughout the school. I am passionate that the children receive the very best quality of education and resources.
Mrs Lister
Mrs ListerTeaching Assistant
I have worked as a Teaching Assistant at Iveson since 1994 doing various roles across both Key Stages. At present I am working in Year 3 providing 1:1 support for children with additional needs. It is very rewarding seeing the progress the children at Iveson make each year. I also work in the KS2 Library and I am responsible for running the Book Fairs in school.
Mrs Nahal

Please ensure that your child has everything they will need for school and that everything they have has a clear name label in it.  We often have a handful of jumpers that all look the same and don’t have a name in them – this is very important.

Planners and reading books need to be in school every day. Please can you use the home side to record when you have listened to your child read. We encourage children to read at least 3 times a week, in order to support their reading development in school.

In year 3 we are beginning to look at the written methods for calculations. Examples of these can be found within the yellow planner, but we encourage you to come and ask if you would like further information.

Please also encourage your child to work on Mathletics at home – challenges are set regularly and there is a trophy to be won each week for the child with the highest Mathletics score.

Homework will be sent home on Monday to be returned by Friday

Spellings will be sent home to learn for the week – they will be tested the following week.

Got any questions?

If you have any questions or queries, please feel free to come and see us, or write a note in your child’s planner and we will get in touch.
