Meet our teachers:

Mrs Collinson
Mrs CollinsonTeacher
My name is Lindsay Collinson and I have been a teacher at Iveson Primary School since 2013. I have enjoyed teaching in a number of year groups, including Early Years and I am currently teaching in Year Two. I like to use a range of teaching and learning strategies in lessons in order to engage all learners. I also really enjoy seeing how much progress the children can make in Year Two.
Mrs Beecroft

I have worked as a teaching assistant at Iveson for three years. I work with both Year 2 classes supporting the children during English & Maths lessons. I also take groups for Guided Reading & Phonics. I really enjoy helping the children progress with their learning. You might see me near the school gates with the children who catch the bus each afternoon.

Please ensure that your child has everything they will need for school and that everything they have has a clear name label in it.  We often have a handful of jumpers that all look the same and don’t have a name in them – this is very important.

PE will be twice each week. All children will need a white T-shirt, black shorts or leggings/joggers and black pumps. Thank you.

Reading books– these are changed once during the week so please ensure children bring their books and planner every day to ensure they can be changed promptly. Please sign the planner when you listen to your child read.

Homework and spellings – these are given out on Friday and should be returned any time the following week.
